Summer (June – August): When it comes to weather, the perfect time to visit Gothenburg is during the summer season. This is the city’s peak season, and every traveller flocks here. Taxi: Either call or book your taxi, hail one on the street, or board one which is waiting at designated taxi stops around the city.

Car: All parking metres and street parking have a label with the word ‘TAXA’ followed by a letter or number. There is a schedule available from the Tourist Centre which indicates the allocated free time, daily. Of course car hiring facilities are also available from the airport once you’ve landed.
