Baggage allowance

Korean Air allows passengers to carry luggage that does not weigh more than 12 kg/25 lbs and exceed 115 cm/45 inches.

For passengers travelling with First and Business Class they are allowed to carry up to two carry-on bags that would not weigh more than 18 kg/40 lbs and exceed 115 cm/45 inches.

Excess/Overweight Baggage

Passengers with more luggage than the airline’s permitted allowance will be charged additional fees.

Baggage restrictions

You are not allowed to board Korean Airline with items such as fireworks, flares, radioactive materials,  explosives, flammable liquids, ammunitions, lighters and corrosive materials , box cutters, cutting objects, knives of any length, drills, saws and game darts.

Check in

It is advisable that you arrive at the airport at least two hours before a flight departure and the check in normally close 40 minutes before a flight schedule departure time.

Online Check-in

Passengers can check in between 4 hours to 24 hours prior to flight departure.
