Delta designates that all classes of service are allowed to take one piece of personal luggage onboard. This may not exceed more than 7kg and sized more than 56 x 35 x 23 cm.
Depending on the availability of space on the aircraft, some items do not count as personal items. This means that no additional charges apply to bring the following:
- Food or beverages purchased after the security checkpoint for consumption on the flight.
- Merchandise purchased at the duty free shop.
- Coat, jacket and umbrella.
- Wheelchairs or crutches, strollers and child seats.
