Green Africa Airways offers a flexible baggage policy to accommodate various travel needs:

Carry-on Baggage: Passengers are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item (such as a handbag or laptop bag) free of charge. The carry-on bag must fit in the overhead bin and comply with size and weight restrictions.

Checked Baggage Allowance: The amount of checked baggage you can bring depends on the type of ticket you purchase:

  • gSaver: You have 0kg bag allowance and will need to purchase baggage for an additional fee.

  • Classic: You are entitled to 15kg of checked baggage included in your fare.

  • Flex: You receive a generous 20kg of checked baggage allowance.

Traveling with Infants: Passengers traveling with infants are allowed an additional 5kg of checked baggage.

Special Items: The airline accommodates special items such as sports equipment, musical instruments, and medical supplies. Passengers are encouraged to contact customer service in advance to make necessary arrangements.

Important Information

  • Bags exceeding 32kg cannot be checked and will be treated as cargo (additional fees may apply).
  • As of June 2024 (update the year), excess baggage can only be purchased at the airport.

  • Seat Selection: There is an applicable SEAT FEE for any preference seat selected. Otherwise, the seat will be AUTO ASSIGNED at the Airport for passengers in the gSaver & gClassic fare category. For gFlex, seat selection comes at Zero cost
