Nigerian passport holders do require a tourist visa for Malaysia. You will need to apply at the <\/span>VFS Global (Malaysia Visa Application Centre) <\/b>in <\/span>Abuja<\/b>. The processing time for visas generally takes at least six days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Types of Visas<\/span><\/h2>\n

Visa without Reference (VWTR)<\/span><\/h3>\n

Social Visit (Tourist Visa)<\/b> \u2013 issued to those who wish to visit the country for a holiday, visit family, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Business Visa<\/b> \u2013 issued to those who intend to conduct business meetings, attend conferences and trade fairs, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Student Visa<\/b> \u2013 issued to applicants who wish to study in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The above visas are valid for a <\/span>maximum stay of up to 14 days<\/b>. It is approved by the High Commission of Malaysia. An extension of the VWTR must be approved by the Director-General or Deputy Director-General of the Immigration of Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visa with Reference (VWR)\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The VWR is <\/span>only<\/b> issued to those travelling to Malaysia for <\/span>business or investment<\/b>. Your trip must be sponsored by a local high-level individual or a local company through invitation only. The visa is valid for a <\/span>maximum stay of 30 days<\/b> in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Processing Time<\/span><\/h3>\n

All Malaysia visas can take <\/span>at least six days <\/b>to be processed from the day of submission. <\/span>Track your application<\/span><\/a> and, once it has been approved, and ready for collection, head to the Malaysia Visa Application Centre to collect your passport.<\/span><\/p>\n

The visa fee and service charge must be paid in cash at Bank Implant inside the Malaysia Visa Application Centre. You must have a copy of the first page of your passport when making payment.<\/p>\n
