Meet and Greet Party with the Bobsled Team

Feel the Rhythm! Feel the Rhyme! Get on up, it’s bobsled time! Cool Runnings – Sanka Coffie in Cool Running

The Nigerian Bobsled & Skeleton teams inspiring story is a real-life scenario of the characterisation of the 1993 film Cool running. The movie depicts the longshot journey of four Jamaican bobsledders that dream of competing in the Winter Olympics 1988, despite never having seen snow and yet made it to glory. Seun Adigun, Akuoma Omeoga, Ngozi Onwumere, and Simi Adeagbo has put this fiction into reality by putting aside their white-collar careers on hold to slide around icy curves at 80 miles per hour. This is a feat that no Africa nation has ever achieved ever since the creation of Winter Olympic 1924.

The guests were welcomed by the charming smile of our Travelstart team at the venue before enjoying sandwich, juice or a cup of coffee. The warm welcome set the tone for a fun chit-chat before the arrival of the Bobsled and Skeleton Team. When they finally arrived, our guests exchange pleasantries with them, before proceeding to the official stand to get their autographs and few selfies.
