  4. Your list of 25 best bloggers in Nigeria is very informative and resourceful from my personal point of view. Although, I was expecting to read reasons or benchmark that formed basis of your conclusions.

I’m not questioning your judgement but as a one in the loop, all the sites, with the exception of one or two qualifies as real blog with substance.

Most of the blogs are nothing but generic ad sites with little space for information peddling. When these ads are not intrusive, the blog substance are lack any educative or entertainment punch.

I find nearly all the blogs are published on Blogger software, and these blogspot sites which are not self hosted are poorly indexed and even designed.

When lands on nearly all these bloggers, again with the exception of two or three blogs, the rest have no aggressive system in place to persuade a visitor to submit his or her email for future notifications. This is a lethal mistake for anyone who wants to be taken seriously as a blogger of substance.

I design blogs and mini sites, rent or sell them on places like Flippa.com and GoDaddy.com with a decent mark up. I doubt if any of these sites will command a good six figure income if it were to be auctioned.

These observations are made in good faith because it is my expectations that the blogging business will grow in Nigeria and that new bloggers choose a different income model besides ad revenue.

    • @ Ebuka Ikeoyibo – What is your email address. I might need you to design a site for me. Thanks
